Hi all,
as the stress of the last weeks is coming down, i've got some time to spent
with orca... ;-)
I just saw that procallator is already measuring the uptime and so i added
the
part of the uptime graph from orcallator.cfg to procallator.cfg. As
expected, it
works fine.
Actually, i'm `going to work on the WATCH_WEB function for procallator. I
made a review of the mailing lists of the past 3 months and it seems, that
nobody has been working on it...
Is it still needed, as Orca_Services is in development???
In parallel, i'm working on a bourneshell-script, that checks every
$INTERVAL
for actual graphs generated by orca as well as the availability of the
measured
hosts. To visualize the results, i modified the orca-script to include
state-gifs
for each host after each hostname in the index.html.
Depending on the state the script figured out for a host, it copies the
corres-
ponding state-gif to its place.
Maybe i get the time within the next two weeks to get this script online on
a
public webserver, which monitors more hosts than himself, so you can see
what it does.
Regards,
Burkhardt
