This is something I was kinda looking at today, the configure.in file that 
is.    This is something new for me.  Your autogen.sh script and all that.

Besides the ps command there is also the the 
"<orca_service|orcallator>_run_at_boot" blocks in Makefile.in  in the 
respective data_gatherers directories.

I know what needs to go into these Makefile.in files but I don't know how 
to make configure.in correct for "uname -s".  Currently, it supports Linux 
and Solaris but its doesn't support FreeBSD and it should.  I can make that 
change if I understood how configure.in work better.

Once "configure" is created its easy but how configure is created from 
configured.in I'm not sure.  I know the "config" directory has elements in 
it but that's about where I end ...
