The Storable issues does not effect the portrait format and mirror
imaged.  Storable is just used to store some data about each input
data file, but not the actual data itself.  The RRD files are used
for that.

Its not obvious why the images you are getting are showing up the
way that you describe.  Can you put one up on the web and send a
URL for it?
