Hi Blair, I was using Perl 5.005_03 on Solaris 2.6. I'll try 5.6.1 and groff as you suggest. How do I hook in GROFF? Is there a configure parameter? Does it discover it on its own, or do I modify the Makefile in the doc directory? Something like: GROFF = /usr/bin/groff Thanks again, Jim
