ORCA is heavy CPU and disk wise on the MAKES-THE-GRAPHS box (based on the 
number of machines) but nothing to even talk about on the COLLECTOR boxes.

CPU intensive because of the RRD database.  I have one of my environments 
of 19 machines going to a E250 with a single 400MHz CPU.  This machine is 
pegged probably 50% of the time because of the RRD stuff.

Disk, for me, isn't as bad as CPU but if I add more machines it will start 
to become a problem - I have a ways to go before that though.

I've attached some ORCA graphs from this machine so you can see what's it 
doing.

One qualifier I should put out is I'm collecting data on all machines every 
minute - not every 5 minutes which is the orcallator.se default.  This 
should increase the CPU requirements of ORCA because it has more data to 
chew on.

A two CPU machine for 100 boxes should be fine - the graphs won't be 
exactly up-to-date but they will catch up.  My graphs are usually one or 
two 5 minutes "graph points" behind.  If I need the data in a hurry, I use 
orcallator_column as necessary.
