Is this the perl that comes with Solaris?

Which compiler are you using?

I haven't seen any of these warnings at all on a number of
different OSes and perl versions.

I just tested this on Solaris 8 with perl 5.6.1 build 630 from
ActiveState and gcc 3.1 and it passed fine.
