Be sure you look through the start* and stop* scripts.  You may need to 
"tweak" some stuff in the files assuming you take them directly from the 
installation bundle without running configure first - but you should run 
configure first.  You shouldn't have any problems with these files assuming 
you do - at least I'm pretty sure you won't.
