With Solaris 9, you must use the latest SE which is 3.3.  Take a look at
the table at the bottom of

http://www.setoolkit.com/

For the rest, any other version should work fine, but I recommend using
the latest.  They have bug fixes, new features, etc.  I don't know
which older versions won't work on Solaris 9.
