[Orca-users] I/O contention with orca se process?

Our "super-smart" (ha) engineering team seems to think that there is a lot
of I/O contention on our Veritas Netbackup servers because I have started
running se for orca on those servers. Does this make any sense? The machines
already have very high I/O load (lots of network traffic over the gigabit
ethernet). I'll provide any info I can about the regular activities of these
boxes, but my feeling is that this argument holds no water. Am I right?
