[Orca-users] solaris 8 - orca "Segmentation Fault"

ive compiled orca on my solaris 8 sparc machine, it has the latest patch
cluster.
im using perl 5.8.3 and gcc 3.3.2.
ive tried 5 times and it seems to compile ok, ive also made sure all the
perl modules are installed, but i keep getting a "Segmentation Fault" when
running "start_orcallator"
I also have a solaris9 box and it works fine there.
any ideas?
