[Orca-users] make install fails on AIX 5.2 (orca-snapshot-r385)

All you really need on the AIX box is the AIX collector, not a full blown
Orca installation - unless you want that box to enable
publishing/presentation of the data.
You can use rcp, rsync, NFS, ftp, whatever to get the data from the AIX box
to the Solaris system and let it do the publishing.

Subject: [Orca-users] make install fails on AIX 5.2 (orca-snapshot-r385)

Greetings!

I have set up an Orca server on Solaris 9, It is running the Orca & web. I
was able to sync the SE tool kit orcallator data from other Solaris server
into this host via rsync and ssh.

Now, I tried to monitor an AIX 5.2 system. So, I downloaded
orca-snapshot-r385 & able to run the config, make (using gcc 2.9 & perl
5.8.3) .

However the make install fails with the following error:

Any pointers or help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you,
-Murali
