I personally haven't played with Dtrace yet but I'm pretty sure Dtrace 
wasn't specificially developed for long term system performance like the 
SE Tool kit is.

BTW, I heard back from Rich Pettit about what happened with the SE Tool 
Kit.  Apparently his deal with that company is Maine didn't work out. 
Sounds like he is pretty fed up with the SE Tool Kit - at the moment - I 
sent him an email saying to put some distance between him and it for a 
while.
