The real problem is that SE is confused about how many interfaces you
have. How well does % /usr/sbin/ifconfig -a match up with % se nx.se ?
If there is a type of interface it doesn't know about, there is a
standard way to configure the netif class to add the new interface type
(in the SE FAQ).

I thought we had made the network_class code robust enough to resize the
tables if it found more interfaces while it was running, but I guess
that must have just been for the iostat_class code, it was a few years
ago...

Hi,

How many interfaces do you have on your system? MAX_IF sets the number
of interfaces on your system, so this may not be correctly calculated.

I would try running

se -d -DMAX_IF=XX -DWATCH_OS /export/orca/lib/orcallator.se 15

where you increase XX until it doesn't crash any more.

Let me know if this works.

Regards,
Blair
