What build of Orca are you using? The number in LastChangedRevision in
orcallator.cfg should tell you if you don't know.
yourprompt% *head orca/etc/orcallator.cfg*
# Orca configuration file for orcallator files.
# $HeadURL:
file:///var/www/svn/repositories-public/orcaware-public/orca/trunk/data_gatherers/orcallator/orcallator.cfg.in
$
# $LastChangedRevision: *522* $
# $LastChangedDate: 2006-01-07 13:32:22 -0800 (Sat, 07 Jan 2006) $
# $LastChangedBy: blair at orcaware.com $
# Require at least this version of Orca.
require Orca 0.28.0
What version of perl are you using? If you have multiple perls on your
system, be sure you query the same one Orca is using:
yourunixprompt% *head -1 orca/bin/orca*
#!/usr/bin/perl -w # -*- perl -*-
dmichael at npd-torrent <~><32> /usr/bin/perl -v
This is perl, version *5.005_03* built for sun4-solaris

Complete documentation for Perl, including FAQ lists, should be found on
this system using `man perl' or `perldoc perl'. If you have access
to the
Internet, point your browser at http://www.perl.com/, the Perl Home
Page.
What version of the procollator are you using? I think that's the Linux
equivalent to orcallator, which uses Sun's RICHPse to gather info.
How much RAM is on the host in question?
