[Orca-users] Solaris 10 orca server sends 10, 000 mail messages to root

Not sure if it can be partly-disabled. You can change the orcallator.cfg not to ever send e-mail. If you only want -some- email (like the no-longer-current ) then I'd use procmail to filter the incoming mail. Also, I wouldn't put root as the recepient of any orca e-mail. I use a separate orca user.

Our new Solaris 10 orca server sent 10,000+ mail messages to one client when ancient data was deleted off the orca master.

Can this be turned off?

Is it a new feature? Never happened on the previous orca master.
