[Orca-users] Orca installation issue: libiconv.so.2: open failed

HI

I've resolved it. Installed the libiconv-1.13.1-sol10-sparc-local package and orca installed fine. Only thing is, the orcallator.cfg was not copied/created in /usr/local/lib and start_orcallator and all the other orcallator scripts weren't copied/created in /usr/local/bin. I copied them from the tar extracted tar ball though.

Regards
Dean

Subject: Orca installation issue: libiconv.so.2: open failed

Hi

I am trying to install orca on Solaris 10 SPARC. The system recently reinstalled by someone and I have to know reinstall orca on it.
See the errors I am getting below. Any advice?

checking build system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking host system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking target system type... sparc-sun-solaris2.10
checking for gcc... gcc
checking for C compiler default output file name... configure: error: C compiler cannot create executables
See `config.log' for more details.
