Hello,
I am trying to install ORCA snapshot build r557 on Solaris 10.
It seems to fail on the rrdtool portion.
Any ideas how to get past this?
I used ./configure --prefix=/opt/orca --with-html-dir=/opt/orca/var/html
errors start on line 8.
1 checking if Perl module Storable 2.15 is installed... yes
2 checking if Perl module Time::HiRes 1.83 is installed... yes
3 checking for /proc style directory... /proc
4 checking where the boot init.d directory is... /etc/init.d
5 checking which directory contains the boot rcX.d directories... /etc
6 Running configure in packages/rrdtool-1.0.50 to create RRDtool and
RRDs.pm.
7 (cd packages/rrdtool-1.0.50; ./configure solaris2.10
--cache-file=../../config.cache)
8 configure: WARNING: you should use --build, --host, --target
9 configure: loading cache ../../config.cache
10 checking build system type... Invalid configuration `solaris2.10':
machine `solaris2.10' not recognized
11 configure: error: /bin/bash config/config.sub solaris2.10 failed
thanks in advance for any advice.
Jeff
