[Svnmerge] A block file list

Hi,
I've done something of a search and not found anything that relates to 
this so far.

It would be extremely useful to be able to block not just revisions but 
any revision to a file or set of files.  Has this feature ever been 
requested before or are there recipes of scripts already that manage 
that by processing the avail log (which is what I'm considering doing)?
