Take a look at 'lib/Orca/Utils.pm' line 30 in the function 'send_email'
and modify it to use postfix instead of sendmail - sorry I don't know
postfix so don't know what is needed

when you get it working you could probably post the diffs

Ideally I would still like to recieve warnings if certain machines are = ; not
collecting properly.=A0 For now to
avoid the defunct processes I am starting orca from cron once every 5=
minutes with the  -o flag.=A0 I will
keep your suggestion in consideration if no other work-around present= s
itself.=A0  Thanks!

try commenting out the 'warn_email' definition in your config file.

When=A0 reviewing my messages log on the machine that hosts the orca<= BR> process,
I find the=A0 following
error=A0  message:

/usr/local/orca/bin/orca: warning: cannot fork for sendmail: No such = file

which=A0 correponds exactly to the number of defunct processes that I= spawn
each=A0 day.=A0 Did I  misconfigure
orca?=A0 Orca is running on a Redhat v7.1 box, perl v  5.6.0-12, with= =A0 the
latest version of orca.=A0 In addition,
the=A0 machine does not have sendmail, but rather uses postfix (which= seems
to be the=A0 problem).=A0  Any
suggestions?
