[Orca-users] Anyone using Orca with rsync?

I believe that Orca doesn't care how the rrd files get there as long they
are available to be read by Orca when it is ran. I have used rcp, rdist,
rsync, scp, and rsync over ssh to get the file to the central place where
they are plotted. Using any of these tools is a lot easier then NFS mounting
them. Rsync and rdist are preferred because they will not waste resources
retransmitting files that have made it to central place already. Caution is
that I do not run Orca in daemon mode but rather it goes out every hour and
fetches the files and creates all plots.

Diana

This sounds interesting.

It has all ways annoyed me that the orca file systems has to be nfs mounted
to each client
Do you have any more info on using rsync

Or does any body know of a better way e.g some socket to socket demon
program.
