the other thing i noticed was the comment at the top of the 
http://www.hoopoes.com/cs/orca/dbs.shtml
when i printed it off on a printer (and you can see if you view the source
in your browser) said "Sprite Oracle Status Console" - 
maybe Sprite::General is only for that method of displaying the data, but
not 
required for orca to display it.
