I think it's the volatile patch that is causing this problem.  I 
reviewed all the color based code in the standard orca-0.27.tar.gz and 
it looks fine.

Looking at

it adds new colors to the plot based off the original plot.

The original PNG you sent is actually better, because it shows the 
problem for the last disk.  It looks like this problem occurs when an 
existing plot is added later on with additional data, and this happens 
with disk plots a lot.

I bet if you plot the disk data from only the last week, then everything 
would work correctly.

If you can, please take a look at helping to debug the volatile patch 
and send any fixes back to the mailing list.
