Christoph,

I don't recommend using rrdtool 1.2.x right now, as I saw from a post 
it's several times slower in generating images than 1.1.x is.

Also, rrdtool 1.2.x is not officially supported by Orca, but if you want 
to send in a patch, that would be most welcome :)
