[Orca-users] cannot put data into RRD

This looks as if the orca config file is incorrect, its trying to read the rules input string as a float, and other float inputs as integers.

It does look to me as if your input data is in good shape, so if you can fix the interpretation of it then you should be able to replay the saved input files.

Hi David,

Thanks for pointing that out,  the orca page seemed to indicate that 0.27 
is the latest stable release. I have now tried 0.27b3 aswell as the 
development snapshot but unfotunately still get the same errors. In 
addition to the conversion to long I see some other errors as pasted 
below.

any other ideas?

Have you considered upgrading to the latest orca snapshot?  0.27 is 
ancient and full of problems for modern OS's.

does anyone know what might cause this, and how I might fix it? If at all 
possible I don;t want to lose any of the data!
