[Svnmerge] How does SVN handle merging renamed / moved filesfrom "branches"

How do you do any of your merging and refactoring if you aren't using 
svnmerge.py?  I'll be honest; right now, CVS is my limiting issue when 
refactoring / renaming files and forces me to think a couple of times before 
doing it.
